No matter if you are gambling online or at the casino, your main goal is to win. After all, the more you win the more money you will end up with when your day is done. But with that being said, there is one question that weighs on a lot of people’s minds.

Luck or Skill?

  Do you win more often with luck or with skill? There is no right or wrong answer to this question, and a lot of it depends on your particular situation.

First off, the game that you are playing will greatly determine if luck or skill will help you to win.  If you are playing the slots, you will have to get lucky to win.  Generally speaking, there is no strategy that you can use in order to give yourself a better chance of winning.  The symbols pop up on the machine at random, and as a player you have to hope that you are lucky enough to win. 

On the other side of things, card games such as poker and blackjack have a lot to do with skill.  When you play games like this you will need to know what you are doing, and also have a strategy that will help you to win.  You can hone your skills over time, and the more you do this, your chances for winning will definitely increase.  But this does not mean that luck is not involved.  For example, if you are lucky enough to have a good card dealt to you at the right time, you will have a much greater chance of winning.

For the most part, games that are played with a dealer take more skill than luck.  And games that are played with a machine, like slots, you are more likely to win with good luck.  This is only a basic rule, but it usually holds true.

All in all, the gambling world is all about luck and skill.  If you have top notch playing skills and can combine it with a bit of luck, you will more than likely win some money.  But of course, there is no way to control your luck!
