I was staying at the Paris Hotel, which is a nice place located on the Las Vegas Strip. After getting settled I made my way to the black jack tables.
 I need to tell you about my recent trip to Las Vegas. It is one thing to write about a theory, another matter to write about the implementation of your strategy using your own money. I have tried my theories here in Costa Rica with moderate success. Therefore, I feel it is time for me to take my game to The Show. If you are not familiar with the 1-2-3 system you can find it archived in earlier articles.

Unfortunately, for a casino of this size you would think there would be more black jack tables available. I was only able to find double deck tables with a $25 minimum. I personally prefer the shoe, but I said what the heck. Well I always incorporate the 1-2-3 system, but during this session I could have scrapped the 2 and the 3 because I was only winning one hand in a row. I took a butt-kicking; so after dropping 800 I had to make my way to a restaurant.

I went to Les Artistes Steakhouse, in the Paris Hotel. This is a very fine restaurant but the size of the portions is beyond belief. I know you must be thinking there was not enough food; the exact opposite. The bake potato alone could feed a family of four. The meal was great but I just hate to see so much food go to waste. However, I digress.

After my delightful meal I headed back to the tables. This time I was able to find some space at a table with an 8 deck shoe, which is what I prefer. I continued with my 1-2-3 system for black jack and was able to see my fortune turn. I was able to win 200 back from my previous losses and at that point I was ready to call it a night. I wanted to end the evening on a high note. The next afternoon I returned to the scene, to try a recoup more of my money while sucking back some cape cods (1oz. Vodka, Cranberry Juice, Lime Wedge). While winning back my funds I was still able to take a dinner break to regain my strength. The black jack gods were good to me and not only was I able to win back my money but I ended up 600 ahead.

I truly owe my success to following basic strategy along with incorporating the 1-2-3 system. Now next week’s article, how to get the most for $600 in a Vegas strip club….Just Kidding.
