The lay out is easy to understand. Just match the letter with the corresponding letter on the left. Get a good grasp on the number of bets that can be made and exactly where to place your chips. For instance, when betting the split as shown on the chart, there is a chip in between the 18 and the 21 (to indicate that the player wants both numbers). If that chip is placed in such a position that the dealer thinks it is just on one number (suppose the 18; and the 21 shows) you may have trouble collecting your bet properly placed. Naturally a sharp dealer watches the patterns of the individual players and will keep an eye on your bets and even remember what particular system you are using.
But it ain't gonna hurt you to concentrate on this matter. When you get into multiple hedge betting, you can bet your ding dang that you better have this mastered, or you're gonna get your clock cleaned.
